Harvest Monday: October 1, 2012

I feel like a broken record.  Again.  A re-broken record.  Peppers, strawberries and lettuce - oh my!

Happy with my peppers though.  We've got so many still coming.  And with the weather we are having, we'll be getting them for a while!

Aren't they pretty?  We've had such a struggle with sweet peppers for the last two years that I am really enjoying them.

And the hot peppers.  Holy cow.  Good thing we lot all things hot!

More from that broken record.. we're going to have another hot week here.  About 100 again today, and tomorrow probably 110.  I've got to tell you - I am over the heat.  Let's shoot for 85 ever day.  I would be happy with that.  On the other hand, hot temps make hot peppers... and I am definitely NOT over that!

Total Harvest for the Week: 4 pounds, 3.2 ounces
Total Harvest for the Year: 70 pounds, 7.8 ounces

Linked up with Daphne's Dandelions Harvest Monday... hop on over and see what else is being picked this week.

  3. I second the motioon, 85° every day, I'm tired of high 60's and low 70's. :)

Today is the exception, it was 98° last time I checked. I hope my peppers love it as much as yours seem to, those are beautiful. Nice broken record to have.

  4. I am a broken record also, again I love the color of those yellow peppers. I would like some heat specially for the night time. Been in the 40's, plants are not happy.

  5. Beautiful peppers they are too. 110 is really a little too hot in my book, perhaps 90 with the peppers in full sun would be the best of both worlds?
