Not a single seed has seen soil. Apparently I negelcted to look at our busy calendar. Hopefully this week though.
I can, however, show you some of the flowers that will usher in autumn...
Pinks...
... purple....
... red!
And our surprise star - The Sunflower!
We'll see next week if I can get some planting done. In the meantime, check out An Oregon Cottage for her weekly Garden Party.

Those are some stunning flowers you captured on your camera there! Really beautiful. I hope you fine the time to sow your fall crops seeds soon. You know you want to, because it's so much fun watching those seeds germinate and the seedlings grow!
ReplyDeleteDon't I know this problem -get so busy you just don't have time. Your flowers are beautiful.

I'm a little jealous that you can even have a fall garden! We're looking at a frost in about 4-6 weeks and that will be the end of the garden until next April. We'll be shoveling snow when you're harvesting! :)
ReplyDeletemy garden is entirely devoid of colour at this time of year! there's got to be something that's hardy against the cooler temps.. maybe decorative grasses or something. anyway, enjoy your beautiful flowers! i'll be planting some bulbs for next year soon...
ReplyDeleteI like your sunflower too! I haven't ever began to think about planting fall bulbs or seeds. It's been so dry, and the ground is so hard, I keep thinking any day, it will rain and I can go out and get them in the ground, but no luck yet.
ReplyDeleteAt least you've got mild enough weather to be able to still plant- I'm curious to see what a fall/winter garden looks like in So. Cal! Thanks for sharing so faithfully at the TGP!
