13 Days Until We Put Up Christmas!
I love filling my house with holiday plants. Poinsettias are especially beautiful to bring out the colors of the season, and I live near Paul Ecke Ranch, which grows and sells an incredible variety of poinsettias.
Besides poinsettias, I like to grow flowers from bulbs in wonderful holiday colors. Last year we had tulips and narcissus - just beautiful!

I love to force bulbs for the Christmas season, you know, like amarylis. I don't have too many sunny windows indoors so I'm limited. Plus, my wicked cats like to chew everything, so I usually have only a couple.
