Harvest Monday - May 21, 2012

I felt this was a pretty successful week, for the beginning of the season.

A blackberry.  Well, to be fair, it is a brand new bush and probably shouldn't even be producing berries yet.

Several batches of random herbs and hot peppers for dinners.  Love having fresh herbs in my garden.

Peas of course.  I think peas may be magical - I pick all of them and the next day there are a whole bunch more!
A few more berries - pretty, aren't they?

And some volunteer lettuce.  About enough for a little salad.  Yum!

Total Harvest for the Week:  9.5 ounces
Total Harvest for the Year:  1 pound, 4 ounces

More peas and hot peppers this week, and I see nearly ripe tomatoes too - yum!

Linked up with Daphne's Dandelion's Harvest Monday... hop on over and see what else is being picked this week.
